SOUTH CAROLINA CLAIMS ASSOCIATION
The South Carolina Claims Association, long the vision of Claims people throughout the State, began to take shape in early 1964. Representatives concluded local associations headed by the State Association would combine strength of its constituent groups and make a successful organization. An organizational meeting was called in April 1965. Claims people from throughout the State assembled in Columbia, adopted a constituent, elected officers, and set in motion a long-range program in keeping with the goals originally expressed. Each year more enthusiasm is shown as indicated by our increased attendance. We have two successful seminars each year. The SCCA strives to enhance professional education to its members and keep them abreast of any industry concerns. The Association serves the insurance profession, the community and continues to grow.
